Eating in excess of salt can make your body retain fluid, increase your blood pressure and make your heart work harder. Cook with very little salt and use none at the table. Use spices and herbs to flavor foods instead of salt.

Learn to manage the stress in your life. Ask yourself what you can perform to keep it all together in your work and personal life. Learn relaxation techniques and try to laugh every day. Find ways to take greater manage over your work and life.

In sports, the use of performance enhancing drugs is generally referred to by the withering term “doping”, particularly by those organizations that regulate competitions. The use of performance enhancing drugs is typically done to get better athletic performance. This is why many sports prohibit the use of performance enhancing drugs.

The use of enhancement “substances” for sporting purposes was dated back to the ancient Maya and ancient Greeks.  Performance enhancement in the form of potions where utilized by the Greeks to increase their abilities, and the ancient Maya where thought using cocoa leaves to increase their abilities.  Today, athletes will go to many options to increase athletic ability, including: steroids, Amphetamines, HGH, and many others.

Most international sports organizations considered the use of drugs to enhance performance unethical. Steroids are powerful drugs that can have valuable effect if administered within proper guidelines. How they can be safely taken is very important and understanding how they work.

Steroids work on the immune system by blocking the creation of substances that trigger allergic and inflammatory actions, such as prostaglandins. However, they also obstruct the function of white blood cells which destroy foreign bodies and help keep the immune system functioning properly. Steroids increase your risk of infection. Dirty needles or sharing needles using to inject steroids puts you at risk for diseases such as hepatitis and HIV/AIDS.

Steroids affect your mood. Steroids can make you angry and hostile for no reason. There are recorded cases of murder featured to extreme anger from steroid use.

Steroids are illegal to take without a prescription. Doctors prescribe steroids for definite medical conditions.  They are only safe for use when a physician administers the patient.
